Seit ĂŒber zwanzig Jahren ĂŒberschreitet Ugo Rondinone die Grenzen zwischen Medien und Disziplinen. Die Arbeiten des international renommierten Schweizer KĂŒnstlers basieren oft auf Themen und Motiven aus dem Alltag, die durch Isolation, Erweiterung oder eine spezifische Materialbehandlung eine poetische Dimension erhalten. Seine Landschaften, Sonnen, menschlichen Figuren und Stillleben erforschen die emotionale und psychische Tiefe der menschlichen Erfahrung in Verbindung mit der Natur. In hochartifiziellen Installationen, die vielfĂ€ltige Referenzen auf Kunstgeschichte und PopulĂ€rkultur aufweisen, schafft er suggestive Stimmungen, die das LebensgefĂŒhl unserer Zeit einfangen. Rondinone ist ein multimedialer KĂŒnstler zwischen Konzept und Romantik, dessen Bildwelten die Betrachter_innen mit einer neuen Wirklichkeit konfrontieren, von der sie unweigerlich Teil werden.
